To stay healthy you have to keep moving. I exercise 5 days a week to train for the two events; River Rafting and The Inside Ride.
I’m excited to be joining my friends and family in The Inside Ride each October.
This indoor stationary cycling challenge allows students and community members to be difference makers, to build spirit and a sense of achievement. Most importantly, the funds raised support children and teens in British Columbia, living with and beyond cancer.
Teams of 6 cyclists take turns spinning for 10 minutes each and compete for fun awards. Fast-paced, energetic music and an emcee keep the party flowing.
The money I raise will benefit The B.C. Childhood Cancer Parent's Association, who provides cash grants to families who have children battling cancer. I would visit my adopted grandson Brendan Whieldon at BCCH during each round of chemo so his mother could have a short break. We would sit and talk and laugh. Sometimes we would play a game, or read a book, but mostly, Brendan just liked to chat. He had great courage in his battle with cancer.
You can help me - help the kids - by supporting my effort with a donation. Because the Inside Ride relies on sponsorship, to cover event costs and administrative fees, they are able to guarantee 100% of your receipted donations will go directly to benefit the kids and teens.

Thanks for your support!
Always room for one more. A mother's love will help you find your way.
